Which jobs on your floor are making money right now?
Most shops run on paper travelers, spreadsheets and retyped paperwork that are always a step behind, so they find out at month end. I connect what you already have into one live picture of your shop and automate the busywork, so your team spends more of each day on the skilled work that makes you money.

From shop floor chaos to one clear picture
Every shop has some of the mess on the left. The goal is the right side: everyone looking at the same live picture, so problems get fixed during the shift and nobody spends the day chasing answers.

Sound familiar?
Most small and mid-size shops run on travelers, spreadsheets and a few people who know where everything is. It works until it doesn’t.
Spreadsheets that are always behind
They get updated at the end of the shift or the end of the week, so the numbers are already history when you read them.
Data that gets lost
Travelers go missing, notes stay on whiteboards, and the same numbers get typed into three different places.
No view of right now
To find out where a job is or which machine is down, someone has to walk the floor and ask.
Finding out too late
You learn a job lost money or will ship late when it’s too late to do anything about it.
Systems that don’t talk
The machines, the ERP and the spreadsheets each hold part of the story. Nobody sees the whole picture.
It all lives in a few heads
When your lead or estimator is out, nobody else knows the status of anything.
Hours lost to retyping
Purchase orders, quotes and invoices get typed from emails and PDFs into the ERP by hand, and mistakes slip through.
Quotes that take days
Estimates wait on one busy person, and good jobs go to whoever answers first.
What it costs you: late shipments, surprise overtime, scrap nobody counted, and decisions made on last month’s numbers.
How I fix it, in one picture
I connect what you already run, on the floor and in the office, into one live picture of your shop. Nothing gets replaced.
Your shop floor
What you run today. Nothing gets replaced.
Data comes in
Machines, scans and entries report as they happen.
One live picture
Your whole shop in one place. Always current, and nothing gets lost.

What you’d see on the office screen
An example built on sample data. Yours shows your own jobs.
What changes
The same questions you ask every day, answered in seconds instead of days. Less hunting and retyping, and more time for the work your customers pay you for.
Start with a free floor walk
A short visit to your floor. I’ll tell you honestly whether there’s a fix worth paying for.
What I build
Small tools that each take a chore off someone’s plate, on the floor and in the office. They all share the same live data, so every new one is quicker to add.
Live job board
Every job’s station, status and due date on one screen for the office and the floor.
Quote vs. actual
Hours and cost per job compared with what you quoted, as the job runs.
Bottleneck tracker
Setup, run and wait time at the machine that sets your pace, like the press brake or laser.
Paperwork that fills itself
Inspection reports, travelers and quality records built from data you already capture.
Office and order entry
Purchase orders, quotes, invoices and shipping paperwork read from email and PDFs and entered into your ERP or accounting system. A person approves each one.
I also build quoting helpers, shift reports, SPC charts and other office tools. If your people retype it, it can probably be automated.
Not sure where to start?
That’s what the floor walk is for. I’ll point out the fix that pays back first.
How a pilot works
Small, fixed-price steps. You decide after each one.
Floor walk
A short visit to your floor. I learn how jobs move today and ask what’s hardest to keep track of.
Written plan
One fix: what it does, what it should save you, and a fixed price. If I don’t see something worth your money, I’ll say so.
Pilot
I build it for one area of the shop, working with your crew, and adjust it until they use it every day.
Grow it
Add the next fix on the same foundation. The data is already connected, so each one costs less than the last.
Made to keep running in a real shop
You own it
It runs on your computers. You get the code, the data and plain-English instructions.
Works with what you have
Machines, paper travelers, Excel and your ERP. Nothing gets ripped out.
Screens your crew will use
Big and simple, built with the people who use them.
Someone local to call
When something needs a change, you call me. Monthly support is optional.
Questions owners ask
We’re not a tech company. Will my people use this?
That’s the main thing I design for. Screens are simple, built with your operators, and changed until they work on the floor. If your crew isn’t using it, the job isn’t done.
We don’t have an IT person. Is that a problem?
No. Most small shops don’t. I set everything up, keep it simple, and handle changes. It runs on a regular PC in your office.
Do I need a new ERP, new machines or new software?
No. I start from what you already have, including paper travelers and spreadsheets. If a tablet or barcode scanner at a station would help, it’s in the written plan with its cost.
What does it cost?
The floor walk is free. Every pilot has a fixed price agreed before work starts, sized so it pays for itself. You decide after each step whether to keep going.
What happens if you’re not around?
You own the code, the data and the documentation, and it runs on your computers, so any capable developer can pick it up. You can also keep me on optional monthly support.
Is my data safe?
It stays on your computers in your building unless you decide otherwise. I never share or sell your data.
Hi, I’m Manny.
Founder, Current State · San Jose, CA
I’m an engineer, and I’ve spent my career on the data side of manufacturing. At companies including Teledyne FLIR, Stanley Black & Decker, Nevro and Willow, I’ve built SPC systems, defect inspection tools, MES connections, shop-floor automation, and office tools that end manual data entry.
I do this because I care about American manufacturing. Small and mid-size shops build much of what this country runs on, yet they compete with overseas suppliers and big companies that have whole IT departments. I want to give them the same clear view of their own operation, so they keep winning work and keep good jobs here.
